Principles Of Military Leadership For Managers
Tim Syer spent eight years as a Warfare Officer in the Royal Canadian Navy before practicing law. Tim lead small teams of men and women in very challenging work environments aboard Canada's fleet of frigates and destroyers. The military teaches its leaders how to lead teams to accomplish missions and objectives through adversity and uncertainty.
Tim has taken those lessons and applied them to his work as a lawyer leading the corporate team in Lawson Lundell’s Yellowknife office. This talk will take you through some of these principles of leadership and how managers can become better leaders.
From this presentation, you will learn leadership techniques that can help you lead teams to be more engaged, efficient and effective. Good leadership practices in your business will help you attract and retain staff and will increase their productivity.
This presentation was presented at the 2019 Yellowknife Chamber of Commerce Small Business Week Conference and received rave reviews!
